Amitabh Bachchan underwent an angioplasty and was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Friday morning, March 15. According to reports, the Veteran actor of the Hindi film industry was admitted to the hospital under extremely tight security.




According to the information received, the surgery was on his peripheral, not coronary heart, and the angioplasty was performed on a clot in his leg rather than his heart.
In the afternoon, the Bollywood actor took to social media on X and tweeted a phrase of gratitude. He wrote on X, "T 4950 - in gratitude forever."

The 81-year-old underwent angioplasty at Kokilaben Hospital, and more information about the star's health is awaited.

He previously posted a small video of himself with his son Abhishek Bachchan on his social media platform about his recent appearance at an ISPL match.

On the professional front, Bachchan will be seen in Nag Ashwin's upcoming sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD', which is scheduled to be released on May 9 and stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. Fans are also looking forward to his reunion with Rajinikanth in 'Thalaivar 170', which marks their first film together in 33 years, with filming conclusion up last year.
